This motel is wonderful, very cozy and super clean. The owner is the best and made me feel very comfortable I plan to return very soon. Highly recommend.
So peaceful and quite. The rooms are just what we need and the owner Jan is wonderful as well. We have stayed here several times and will always come back.
The owners Bob & Jan Swink. Will go out of their to accommodate you in this very nice and affordable Marina with overnight motel. Talking about clean rooms more like spotless. They take great pride in their Marina and as stated a very affordable pricing.
Sweetness all around you ! The owners are lovely, it is just a neat "find" tucked in it's own space on Monroe Bay. Wonderful gazebo, we took swell family photos at sunset!

Awesome place to stay! Jan is the greatest! She even drove me to the boat ramp with her fancy golf cart! I had a flat tire and she even gave me a can of fix a flat! Greatest person in the world! Thanks again
I cannot say enough about how wonderful & friendly Jan & Bob are!! My husband & I happened on Nightingale quite randomly & the stars were aligned! Made new friends & loved the ambiance, quietness & beautiful sunsets!! And of course, the rooms were impeccably clean & well appointed! We will be back!!
Jan and Bob run one of the Potomac River's absolute gems! It's not The Homestead or Greenbriar but you can't beat it for genuine hospitality and value. Very reasonable transient slip. Easy cruise from DC area -- bears I-95. Walking distance from just about anything you might want to do. Superb weekend getaway! Definitely returning!
